What is myWorld?

myWorld is a cashback platform that will let you earn when you shop or travel. It used to be called Cashback World but rebranded itself and also completely changed its design and many of its features.

It is a legit platform since you can really earn cashback rewards from it. But the question now is, is it worth it?

Well, to answer this question, you must first understand how it works. And the only way to do that is to examine the earning opportunities it offers so you can get a clear picture of how much you can earn and how many cashback offers are available.

Option 1 – Online Cashback Deals

One way to earn from myWorld is through its online cashback offers. As mentioned earlier, you can earn cashback rewards if you shop online. However, to do this, you must shop from one of their partner stores’ online platforms.

myWorld has a decent number of partner stores, but they are not the usual stores you will see from cashback sites and apps (like Walmart, BestBuy, Amazon, etc).

I do have to say that there are plenty of cashback offers available, though, so you will potentially find a lot of interesting deals.

There are three ways you can avail of these online cashback deals. First, you can log in to the member dashboard and search for deals you are interested in.

When you find one, just click it and you will see the full details of the deal. Make sure to take note of all the details because if you miss just one step or requirement, you will not receive the cashback reward.

When you are ready to shop, just click the “Shop Online Now” button and it will take you to the online store of their partner. Just proceed with the purchase like you normally would, and when the purchase is completed, you will be eligible to receive the cashback reward stated.

myWorld did not specify how long it will take for the cashback reward to be credited to your account balance, but based on my experience with other cashback platforms, it usually takes around 30 to 60 days for the reward to appear in your balance. This is to ensure that you have cleared the refund period; after all, the store doesn’t want to reward you for something that you returned. Then they would end up losing money instead.

Another way to avail of online cashback deals is by using myWorld’s browser plugin. This plugin will work with Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome. The idea is that once you install the plugin, you don’t have to log in to the member dashboard to avail of deals.

You can just go directly to the online store of their partners and shop. The plugin will do the rest of the work. If the store has existing cashback deals for myWorld, the plugin will automatically apply them during your purchase.

When the purchase is completed, you’ll be eligible to receive the cashback reward. But again, you’ll have to clear the refund period of the store before the cashback reward will be awarded to you.

Lastly, you can use myWorld’s mobile app to shop online using your mobile device. The process is pretty much the same as when you are using the member dashboard. You log in to the app and find a deal you are interested in, and when you are ready to shop, just click the “Shop Online” button.

It will take you to the online store, and all you have to do is complete the purchase. Then you’ll receive the cashback reward once you’ve cleared the refund period of the store.

Aside from earning cashback rewards, you’ll also receive shopping points when availing of cashback deals. Later, I will explain what you can do with the shopping points you will receive.

Option 2 – Scan & Go

Another way to earn rewards is by scanning receipts using the Scan & Go feature of myWorld’s app. This opportunity will let you earn cashback rewards and shopping points if you shop from a physical store.

Once you’ve completed a purchase from one of their partner stores in your city, all you have to do is take a photo of the receipt using the app. Once it is uploaded, myWorld will review the details and award you with the corresponding cashback reward.

The thing to remember about this opportunity is that the photos you take of receipts must not be blurry. All the details of the receipts must be readable. If even one detail of the receipt is not readable, you will not receive the cashback reward.

How do you get paid?

Now let’s talk about how you can benefit from the cashback rewards and shopping points you’ve earned. As explained above, you will earn a certain amount as well as shopping points for completing deals and uploading receipts.

As for the shopping points, you can use them to get more cashback rewards (refer to the photo above). Think of these points as a way to boost the cashback reward you will receive. The number of shopping points required for a deal will vary depending on how much money you can save.

As for the cashback rewards you will earn, you can use them to buy various eVouchers, or you can withdraw your earnings directly to your bank account. For the latter, you will need to earn at least $10 to withdraw your earnings to your bank account.

How much money can you make?

The amount of money you can earn from myWorld will depend on your shopping habits. If you shop online frequently or you often go to one of their partner local stores, you stand to earn a significant amount from myWorld.

As for the cashback rates it offers, you will usually see 2% to 6% cashback rates on their cashback deals. There are some cashback deals that offer more, but they are few and far between, and they are from stores that are not as popular.

But as I’ve mentioned earlier, myWorld has a lot of cashback deals available, so you will most likely find a lot of interesting deals. The most important factor when looking at a cashback platform, in my opinion, is the number of available deals it offers, and myWorld checks that box.

That’s why I would say the site does offer decent earning potential. If there were cashback deals from popular retailers like Walmart, BestBuy, Amazon, etc., I would rate this cashback platform a lot higher. But as it is, it can be a decent secondary cashback platform to join, in my opinion.

Can you use it on mobile?

As mentioned earlier, myWorld has a mobile app you can download, so you can scan receipts and avail of cashback deals using your mobile device. The app is available for download on both Android and iOS app stores.

The app is user-friendly, so you will easily get used to using it. Using it is also a must because, as explained earlier, you can earn by scanning receipts from their partner stores, so if you want to maximize your earnings from them, you’ll definitely have to use the app.

Who can join myWorld?

The site doesn’t really tell you exactly which countries it is available in. But from what I can tell, it is available more or less worldwide, so you can register as a member anywhere in the world. That being said, the number of cashback deals available will depend on the country you live.

Based on my experience, people who live in the US, Canada, and the UK usually have access to most deals, while smaller countries will have fewer deals available.

To sign up, you just have to fill out the registration form, or you can use your Google, Facebook, or Apple account to join. After you’ve completed the registration form, you can log in to the member dashboard and start earning.
